Micky Gray Interviewed Ahead of Live Hair Transplant
25th November 2012
In June 2012 ex Sunderland and England Footballer Micky Gray (and current Sky Sports pundit) underwent hair transplant surgery live on the internet at Farjo Medical Centre in Manchester, the first time this has been done in the UK. Micky Gray was interviewed ahead of the procedure.
Micky details how he started noticing his hair loss at age 33. He was seeing images and videos of himself in the news and on TV. With his football career shifting toward TV and media, Micky began to feel more conscious. He felt that addressing his receding hairline would improve his self-confidence.
Micky felt that by taking part in this video he could reassure other men and women considering the procedure.
