To keep up with the times, I’ve joined various social networking sites and regularly blog, tweet, and check Facebook. The channels are useful for me, as I like to keep an eye on industry news and engage with the hair loss community, which is very active online via numerous forums and blogs.
I was amused recently when I received a message from a clinical research company through LinkedIn, inviting me to apply for the position of medical director. Now, while the job description does sound interesting, and I’d no doubt enjoy being in charge of their clinical trials and regulatory affairs, I’ve got no plans to do any moonlighting any time soon.
However, what does impress me is the targeted approach employers seem to be adopting in order to recruit new colleagues. Food for thought during the next Farjo recruitment drive.
