The Guardian Addresses Growing Hair Transplant Popularity

Dr Bessam Farjo was interviewed yesterday following the publication in the press of photos of celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, having a swollen face apparantly after a hair transplant surgery procedure. The author also took the opportunity to talk about the increasing popularity of hair transplants.
Dr Farjo suggested that Mr Ramsay’s appearance could be explained by what used to be a common post operative complication of hair transplantation. If that is the case, then the swelling should resolve in a couple of days. Nowadays, at least at Farjo, it is rare to get such swelling due to the significant technical advances made in recent years.
